Great authentic mexican food, quick service, and friendly staff! They give generous portions with food orders. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is there was an unexpected 10% or so liquor tax for ordering 2 margaritas adding quite a bit to our bill. It's possible this was listed on the drink menu in fine print, but it was not obvious to me. I personally feel like this should be disclosed because most places don't charge a "liquor tax." My $9.99 margarita was actually about $12, then add other state taxes on top of our entire bill.

I treated myself to lunch today, and I’m glad I did I ordered the Alambres Steak & Chicken Mix, which I’d never had before, but it looked too good not to try. O-M-G — it was so delicious Everything was super flavorful and cheesy. What I really loved were the vegetables: big, hearty chunks The portion size was huge. I ate half and was stuffed, and I’ll easily get a second full meal out of it I also had a horchata, which was sweet, creamy, and really refreshing with a little bit of spice I dined in and the service was fast and attentive ⏱ The vibe was casual, clean, and family-friendly I would absolutely go back and definitely recommend it I love supporting small, independent businesses

Got takeout for lunch and everything was incredible and fresh. Got the lunch special #10, enchiladas poblanas, Jamaica water and horchata, would recommend them all and order again soon

Food was delicious and the "pitcher" of margaritas was a unique experience. The carnitas was so tender and the queso on the chimichanga was very flavorful.

We ordered dinner for 2 delivered by DoorDash. As a couple who as spent a lot of time in Mexico, the food was excellent. The tray of meats, seafood, grilled cactus, and grilled avocado would have served at least 4 people, but probably 6. The sides were also well done. This is the best authentic Mexican food we've had in the Minneapolis metro. so far.
